  • This outstanding entry level course is for those students who initially do not have the time or funds to take our four day course, but want to get a fast start on their weaponcraft training. Upon completion of this course you will have a fundamental understanding of the defensive use of the handgun. Among the many skills you acquire will be the ability to safely and easily draw your weapon from the holster and fire two, sighted shots to the center of a target 5 yards away – all under 1.5 seconds! This course more than satisfies gun handling and marksmanship criteria for a Concealed Weapons Permit. Valhalla Training Center

  • An advanced course for experienced shooters and armed professionals. This course will focus on engagements inside of \"double arm distance.\" This course features a significiant amount of retention work, unorthodox shooting positions, introduction to some Combat Focus shooting conceptsand a variety of less-lethal options. During this course students will utilize High GearTM training suits and AirMunitionsTM training rounds to engage one another and role-players with firearms while grappling and during various gun-grab or ambush scenarios. The Extreme Close Quarters Tactics course takes maximum advantage of Valhalla\'s 16,000 Square Foot Scenario House for realistic drills in confined spaces, small rooms, stairwells, hallways and even our live-fire safe vehicle. The core components of this course are a key part of the curriculum for military special operations personnel who train at Valhalla in the Close Quarters Counter Ambush program. This is an intense course meant for armed professionals and individuals with advanced weapons handling skills and reasonable levels of physical fitness. Therefore, students must have prior training experience with VTC staff and approval to register for this course.
